Devlog #3 – Building the Full Experience: Intro, Gravity & Lore ✨


We’ve taken another big step forward in the development of Sir Isaac’s Pastry & Apples! 🍏🥧

What’s new:

  • The final screens (Time Up, Game Over, and Win) are now in place, designed with the game’s concept art style for a more polished experience.
  • A brand-new gravitational flow mechanic has been added as a fun bonus — special gravitational ingredients now appear, and collecting them can give you an extra life! 🌌
  • A short intro & mini-tutorial helps set the stage, giving players story context and guidance before jumping into the action.
  • Audio management is now fully functional, enhancing the game’s immersion and feedback. 🔊
  • Fixed a bug where players could enter their name multiple times in the ranking system (no more infinite fame 😅).
  • Added a full encyclopedia of characters and ingredients, accessible through the new Tools button — perfect for curious players who want to dive deeper into the lore.

The game now feels richer and more complete: from narrative introduction, to core gameplay upgrades, to expanded lore exploration. We’re super excited for you to try these new additions! 💫
